The Bone Art place is committed to protecting your privacy. We only use the information we collect about you to process orders and respond to direct questions.

What information do we collect? How do we use it?

When you place an order, we need to know your name, e-mail address, delivery address, credit card details, billing address and we record your IP. This allows us to verify, process and fulfil your order and to notify you of your order status.
We do not store credit card information after an order is processed (unless you specifically request we do so for repeat commercial orders) so you will need to enter you credit card every single time you place an order.
When you enter a contest or other promotional feature, we may ask for your name, address, and e-mail address so we can administer the contest and notify winners.

How does The Bone Art Place protect customer information?

We use a security tested secure server for collecting personal and credit card information. The secure server layer (SSL) encrypts (scrambles) all of the information you enter before it is transmitted over the interment. Furthermore, all of the customer data we collect is protected against unauthorized access using the latest technology and multiple layer security.

What about "cookies"?

"Cookies" are small pieces of information that are temporarily stored by your browser on your computer's hard drive. We only use cookies to store information on the products you are ordering (not personal personal info) while you are actually placing your order to allow our system to verify and total your order when you check out.  As soon as you confirm your order or leave the web site the cookie expires and is automatically deleted from your computer.

Will The Bone Art Place disclose any information it collects to outside parties?

No..... We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others under any circumstances whatsoever, there are no exceptions.
We will provide information to law enforcement agencies if required to do so under a warrant by New Zealand law.

By using our Web site, you consent to the collection and use of this information by The Bone Art Place to process orders as described above.  If we need to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on this page so that you are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances we disclose it.

News Letters and Email Contacts

We hate spam as much as you do, probably even more as we receive around 300 spam messages a day ourselves.
There is only one place for spammers and that is at the bottom of a very deep hole filled with water.
You will receive a confirmation email after you place an order or a request for additional information about an order if required.
We do NOT send unsolicited marketing emails at all and we do not sign you up to mailing lists simply because you bought something from our store..

If you would like to join our mailing list you are very welcome to do so on a strictly opt-in basis only by emailing your request to newsletter@boneart.co.nz
If you then decide you no longer wish to receive our newsletter, removal requests are actioned instantly and permanently.
Under the " New Zealand Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007" which we fully support, our semi regular newsletter is sent only to those members who specifically "Opt In" to this list.
You will receive our newsletter ONLY if you have requested to join our membership mailing list or someone has joined you on your behalf.
